Radio Stations

The data this week comes from Wikipedia.

The data set included was mined from all 50 states, tidying column names, binding and aggregating.

Here I’m showing the radio stations occupying different frequencies (horizontal axis), across US (vertical axis).

A couple of interesting observations; Some states and regions are really under-represented in this data set, like Delaware and Rhode Island. I’m not entirely sure if it’s because the data is incomplete, or if it ’s because they really don;t have so many stations.

Another outlier is Ohio with no Am radio stations.
